PointClickCare’s 2012 expansion into 27,000 sq ft of incremental space, was the Company’s second extremely successful partnering with Steve and my first. When the accountability for Facilities falls under human resources, it is not a competency core to the role and the value of a real estate partner, the caliber of Steve, to navigate the process is exponential. What made it so successful was Steve’s natural approach to clearly understand both our short- and longer-term business plans as well as the fact our unique company culture is significantly influenced by physical space and location. Our needs were very specific and required alignment of many stakeholders with limited time. Steve is a master at what he does and a complete pleasure to work with. My choices for this recommendation were between “service provider” and “business partner”. By definition he was a “service provider” but in practice he was a clear partner in our shared challenge. As I continue to build a core network of external partners to work with, I am so pleased to add Steve to that team.
